I currently lead Participation and Development at Swimming NSW and so am responsible for participation growth and opportunities for all stakeholders of swimming – not just swimmers themselves. This can also include technical official pathways, strengthening of club committees, and some coach pathways. I have spent over 10 years in the sport industry, mainly across football (soccer) and swimming. Over this time I have developed a passion for increasing participation, access and opportunities for regional and rural areas, having lived in a (relatively) regional area myself (Central Coast) until the move to the big smoke. This is why I was so keen to get involved with the Tweed Shire Council’s PRG. I’m truly looking forward to helping make a big difference to the lives of the residents of the Tweed Shire.
