At its meeting on 26 October 2023, Council resolved to classify the land as operational. 


Council recently acquired Lot 21 in Deposited Plan 331993 (39 West End Street, Murwillumbah South). Refer to map below.

Council proposes to classify the land as operational land. The intended use of the land is for road, wastewater and sewage infrastructure.


What is Operational Land? 

Operational land ordinarily comprises land held as an asset or as an investment, land which facilitates Council carrying out its functions or land which may not be open to the general public.
