Section 7.11 Contribution Plan Amendments

In response to a submission received on Section 7.11 Contribution Plan No. 7 West Kingscliff (CP07) while on public exhibition in June 2022, along with legal advice received on all of Council's contribution plans generally, additional changes have been made and are detailed in the Council report (found in the Documents section). A newly amended plan is on exhibition from 14 December 2022 until 6 February 2023 and can be reviewed here.


This plan is informed by Council strategies and is being re-exhibited in accordance with the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2021.



In accordance with Clause 28 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000, the community were invited to review and have their say on amendments to 2 draft Section 7.11 Contribution Plans:

The plans were amended to update background strategies, works schedules, cost estimates and population predictions.

The following Council Plans provide the strategic information that the Contribution Plans are based upon.

Council adopted Contribution Plan 19 - Casuarina Beach/Kings Forest at their meeting on 18 August 2022. This plan came into effect on 24 August 2022.
