We are working on a new Public Toilet Strategy that will guide the future planning, development and management of public toilets in the Tweed for the next 10 years.
The strategy will help us to make sure we're providing public toilets that are well-maintained, safe, conveniently located and accessible for everyone.
Council manages 62 public toilets across the Tweed.
In 2021 we asked for community feedback about public toilets, and our online survey was completed by 244 people.
We also asked you to show us where toilets should be built, upgraded or removed. A total of 122 pins were dropped on our interactive map with suggestions.
