You're invited to provide feedback on the draft Voluntary Planning Agreement for the Kingscoast development on Chinderah Road at Cudgen.
The agreement is between Tweed Shire Council, the developer Intrapac Property and the landowner Gales-Kingscliff for the Kingscoast development.
It relates to the approved modified subdivision and a proposed subdivision of a development lot; Lots 1 and 2 DP 828298, Chinderah Road, Cudgen.
The draft agreement sets out provisions for the developer to pay contributions toward the provision of public open space.
Contributions for local infrastructure, also known as developer contributions, are charged by councils when new development occurs. They can be used to provide a range of infrastructure to support development such as open space, parks, community facilities, local roads, footpaths, stormwater drainage and traffic management.
The draft agreement for S93/0076 (96 lot residential subdivision as modified) and DA20/0289 (22 lot subdivision of development Lot 94) is on public exhibition from 20 July to 20 August.
