Amendment to section 7.11 Contribution Plan No.23


Council is inviting comments on a new draft of section 7.11 in Contribution Plan No. 23 – offsite parking (CP23) in accordance with Section 213 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2021.

What is the plan about?

CP23 enables developers in defined CBD areas to pay a contribution to council in lieu of providing parking spaces required by Tweed Shire Development Control Plan Section A2. It has been reviewed and updated to better reflect current projections and costs.

What has been updated?

The Contribution Plan (CP) has been reviewed and amended to include financial updates (new facility estimates), revised facility parameters and updates to reflect current applicable data and standards that inform the draft Contribution Plan.
