Have your say about Council's Delivery Program and Operational Plans
You are invited to review and provide your feedback on a number of draft documents that form part of Council’s Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework.
What is the Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework and why is it important?
The Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework begins with the community’s aspirations for the next 10 years. Those aspirations are described in our Tweed Community Strategic Plan which covers the period 2017 - 2027.
The Framework includes a suite of integrated plans that set out our vision and goals, the strategic actions we plan to take to achieve them, and a reporting structure to communicate our progress to council and the community.
The Delivery Program is a statement of Council’s commitment to the community and outlines what Council intends to do to work towards achieving our community’s long-term goals during its term of office and what its priorities will be. The Delivery Program usually covers a four year period, but this has been extended to five years because of the deferral of the local government election.
Supporting the Delivery Program is an annual Operational Plan. It spells out the individual projects and activities that will be undertaken each year to achieve the commitments made in the Delivery Program and the budget and resources required to deliver them. The Delivery Program contains high-level financials, and then the Council budget focusses on the next financial year and shows more detailed expenditure and income.
