Community Tree Planting Day in Banora Point on Sunday 28 July, from 8:00 am. Access from Greenway Drive (northern side of the stormwater canal, opposite Tweed Coolangatta AFL oval)

9-11 am Join us for tree giveaways and citizen science activities to show the value to trees for providing shade and cooling. 

Tweed residents are invited to take a photo of their favourite tree in an urban area of the Tweed Shire and upload it to Council’s community engagement platform Your Say Tweed between 6-26 November. All entries will have a chance to win a prize pack including a native tree voucher, bag of high quality compost and a gardening supplies pack (2 prizes to be won).

Tweed residents are invited to submit a photo of their favourite tree or streetscape in the Tweed to promote the benefits of trees as part of Tweed Shire Council’s Cool Towns Urban Forest Program. The Tweed community are invited to vote on their favourite from 27 November to10 December 2023.
