Favourite tree of the Tweed 2024 - winners announced

We have received 23 stunning photos of trees in urban environments of the Tweed and the winners have been chosen!

🏆 First Place: With an impressive 42 votes, the standout winner was the impressive Moreton Bay Fig tree in Murwillumbah submitted by Jennifer Hayes and titled “Dreaming Tree”.

🏅 Runners up prizes were awarded to TND and Bandit with their entries “Bilambil Heights Tree” and “Life”.

The entry voted the Tweed’s favourite won a nursery voucher to purchase a native tree or plant(s), gardening maintenance kit and 6 bags of high-quality compost, produced by Soilco from Tweed’s Organics Processing Facility. Two (2) runners up received nursery vouchers.
