The Draft Community Engagement and Participation Plan combines the Community Engagement Strategy (a requirement of the Local Government Act 1993 adopted by Council in August 2018) with new content that addresses requirements for a Community Participation Plan under the Environmental Protection and Assessment Act 1979.
The result is an integrated document that makes it easier for you to understand how, when and on what you can expect Council to engage with you, no matter what part of Council is managing the project.
