Tweed Shire Council proposes to adjust the boundaries of Council-owned operational land (Lots 226 DP1122768, and Proposed Lot 705 in a plan of subdivision of Lots 603 and 604 in DP1244954) to increase the size of Council's sewer pump station land parcel.

Council proposes to classify this land as operational land, in accordance with 31(2) of the Local Government Act 1993.

The location of these lots are shown in the diagram below.

Council is inviting feedback from community members on the proposed classification of land.

Once the public notice period is completed, Tweed Shire Council will consider all submissions before deciding whether to continue with the proposal.

Feedback relating to this proposal are to be made by no later than 5pm Wednesday 19 February 2025 to Council via:

Please note that under the provisions of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, such submissions may be referred to third parties for consideration.
