Crabbes Creek Community Hall upgrade
Thank you for providing feedback on the draft concept plan. Feedback is now closed.
The feedback you provided has been consolidated into an engagement report, which will serve as valuable input for shaping the final concept plan.
After experiencing flood damage, the community hall in Crabbes Creek will undergo a transformative upgrade to enhance its resilience and usability. The renovation will focus on implementing flood-resistant materials and designed to reduce the impact of future flood events.
The refurbishment will embrace access and inclusion by incorporating features such as accessible amenities, accessible car park and linking pathways, ensuring that the hall remains welcoming to all members of the community. The addition of an accessible public toilet will offer essential amenities for visitors and users of the Northern Rivers Rail Trail.
Following the upgrade, the Crabbes Creek Community Hall will be ready to serve as a safe and inclusive space for gatherings, events, and activities for years to come.
Residents are invited to find out more and discuss the upgrades with Council staff at the Crabbes Creek Community Hall on Thursday 25 July, from 4.30 pm to 6 pm.
The draft concept plan will be on public exhibition until 4pm, 31 July 2024.
