This consultation has concluded.
Council worked with the community late last year to create its Community Strategic Plan, which is the 10-year strategic document in Council's new Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework. The Community Strategic Plan outlines the community's aspirations and priorities to take the shire forward over the next decade.
The State Government has legislated that all NSW local governments produce an Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework, to encourage councils and the public to work together for more vibrant and robust communities.
Council has now produced drafts of its Delivery Program 2011/2015 and Operational Plan 2011/2012, which outline how the Community Strategic Plan's aspirations and priorities will be achieved while operating within Council's available resources.
We want you, your colleagues, friends and neighbours to provide feedback on the list of actions in the Delivery Program and Operational Plan, to accomplish the objectives in each of the Strategic Plan's four themes:
- Civic Leadership
- Supporting Community Life
- Strengthening the Economy
- Caring for the Environment.
