Long term planning to shape the future of the Tweed

Council’s range of strategies and plans work together to set the community’s vision and goals for the Tweed, plan programs and services that will deliver on those goals and allocate appropriate resources to make it happen.

The Tweed community’s vision and priorities for the next decade are described in the Community Strategic Plan (CSP). The CSP is one of the most important strategic documents for Council and makes sure that our community’s priorities guide all other Council plans and strategies, including this one.

Draft Delivery Program 2022 – 2026 and Operational Plan 2023 - 2024

The Delivery Program and annual operational plan details Council’s role in the delivery of projects and services for a four year period to realise the long-term strategic goals identified in the Community Strategic Plan. They detail the delivery of planned projects and services for each year, aligning each action to a budget and outlining any other resourcing issues. Each activity is also assigned to a Council officer who is responsible for its delivery.
